Handled

School, sports, and family emails into clear tasks and events

Connect a mailbox. Handled syncs messages and surfaces what needs doing—so family logistics stop living only in your inbox.

Why it exists

Parent inboxes are a firehose of school notes, sports updates, appointment reminders, permission slips, and volunteer asks. Important details hide in threads and replies.

That costs missed deadlines, last-minute scrambles, and the mental load of “did I handle that?” Generic to-do apps still ask you to copy everything by hand. Handled is built for the emails that run family life.

How it works

  1. Connect your mailbox Sign in with Google and connect Gmail so Handled can sync the messages that matter.
  2. Sync and extract Handled pulls actionable tasks and calendar events out of those emails—dates, asks, and logistics.
  3. See what’s left Review Tasks and Events in the app, get notifications when something new needs attention, and keep the list handy with an Android home-screen widget.

What you get

  • Tasks and events from email Permission slips, practice changes, appointments, and other asks become a clear list.
  • Emails still visible Source messages stay available in the app alongside extracted items.
  • Notifications Get nudged when something new needs attention.
  • Android tasks widget Keep what’s left on your home screen without opening the inbox.

Trust

  • Sign-in uses standard Google Sign-In / OAuth.
  • Mailbox access is for purpose-limited use: syncing messages to extract tasks and events.
  • Extraction is an aid, not a black box that replaces your mailbox—emails remain visible in the app.
  • Gmail is supported today.
